The catholic parish church "St. Aegidien"

The church "St. Aegidien" with the "Maria-Hilf-chapel" dates from the 14th century. It was built in gothic style and has an especially rich interior decoration.

| This is one of the plates next
to the entrance. It is probable the ledger of the knight Andreas Birkner,
who died in the year 1614. He was a mayor in Duderstadt. The plate was
found in the church in 1934. How it got there is unknown.
